Hi, I'm Melody 👋

I moved from Toronto to the Bay Area in May and have been happily overcommitted ever since.

Most of what I do comes back to data. I started out as a data analyst, where I learned to trust the numbers before the narrative, and since moving to SF I've gotten much closer to the product and GTM side, working with founders and engineers on what gets built and why.

That same pull toward people shows up outside of work. I host startup community events for founders and builders around the Bay, and my favorite part is when a room of strangers turns into people still trading ideas an hour after the event was supposed to end.

I want to keep working at the seam between data and product, where the analysis actually decides what gets built next instead of just describing what already happened.
